Man shot in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A man was shot in Pawtucket on Friday morning.

Police responded to the area of 600 Moshassuck Valley Industrial Highway for 911 calls about a shooting in the road.

Officers secured the scene but did not find anyone involved in the shooting.

Police learned a 38-year-old man drove himself to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for gunshot wounds.

The man remains at the hospital, where he is stable.

The shooting is under investigation.
