Virtual Town Hall Held to Address Concerns in Hispanic Community
Amid preliminary numbers estimating nearly half of COVID-19 cases in RI are among Latinos

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Hispanic community will have the opportunity the address their concerns about COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Along with State Education Commissioner, Angelica-Infante Green, Governor Raimondo will be holding a virtual town hall on Facebook.
This will allow the Governor to take any questions from the Hispanic community an address any concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
The live forum starts at 7:00 pm on the Rhode Island Department of Education’s (RIDE) Facebook page.
RIDE previously shared information, showing preliminary numbers that estimate roughly 45% of cases in the state are among Latino communities.
