Roadblocks on New Bedford-Fairhaven Swing Bridge expected to affect traffic

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that crews will be performing street sweeping work on the on Route 6 over the New Bedford-Fairhaven Swing Bridge Thursday.

The work will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will involve rolling roadblocks on the eastbound and westbound right travel lanes and ramps.

Drivers should expect delays and use caution.
