Late night fire in Johnston

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A fire on Simonsville Avenue in Johnston required an extended response from firefighters Thursday night.

The call came in around 9 p.m., and the scene remained active around 11 p.m.

Neighbors told ABC 6 News crews on scene that they saw the family that lived in the house outside, as well as one woman being treated in an ambulance.
