Victim hospitalized after shooting in Fall River
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A person was taken to the hospital after being shot in Fall River Saturday night.
According to the Fall River Police Department, officers responded to the area of Tecumseh Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. for a report of multiple shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they said they found multiple spent shell casings in the roadway.
A short time later, officials said a victim was checked into an area hospital with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The incident remains under investigation and no further information was released.
