Chilly Midweek Temperatures

Monday kicks off with some patches of fog and morning temperatures in the 40s. The fog will lift but skies will remain mostly cloudy. At least temperatures will still be warmer than average, topping out in the lower-50s. Tuesday starts a dramatic cooling trend as temps take a 10 degree drop. Sky-wise Tuesday will have a blend of sun and clouds and will be dry. Wednesday gets tricky as lows drop into the 20s and a coastal storm lingers offshore. It could come close enough to bring showers to easternmost Southern New England. As a result, we could see a mix of snow and rain showers. Keep in mind, our chances depend on the stack of the coastal storm and we are going to be on the fringes of this storm. The chance of it happening is low at 30%. Thursday and Friday wrap up the week with sunshine and gradually warming temperatures, We should top in the 30s Thursday and near 45 Friday.
