Man hospitalized after being shot in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said they’re investigating a shooting that happened on School Street Monday night.
According to Detective Sergeant Christopher LeFort with Pawtucket police, a male victim arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound.
Officials said the victim was conscious and alert but no further information about them was released.
ABC 6 News crews were on the scene on School Street near a Sunoco gas station where detectives were searching the area.
Crews observed two shell casings in the road marked by evidence markers.
