Cold Days – Colder Nights

Well, it’s certainly cold enough to support snow, and easternmost Massachusetts starts Wednesday with snow showers. Minor accumulations are possible in Plymouth County this morning and roads there will be slippery for the morning commute. While there is a slight chance there snow showers could jog westward into Bristol County, it’s really more of an eastern Massachusetts than Rhode Island. Come this afternoon, we will see mainly cloudy skies and any snow showers will have shut down. Temperatures will top out near 37. Clearing is in the forecast tonight and temperatures will drop off to near 20 to start Thursday morning. Thursday will start with sunshine then have a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid-30s. Warmer days are ahead for Friday into the weekend. Friday looks mostly sunny with a seasonable high in the mid-40s, while Saturday will be a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the lower-50s. clouds build in Sunday with rain and wind arriving at night. Sunday will also be the warmest day of the week with highs near 55.
