Bullet shells scattered on street at Providence crime scene

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department investigated a crime scene on Academy Avenue Wednesday night.

ABC 6 News crews on scene saw evidence markers around bullet shells, multiple police vehicles, as well as officers taking pictures of evidence.

Police were also searching the trunk of a car parked on the street.

ABC 6 reached out to police and is waiting for a response.
