Santa visits Rhode Island State Police Museum

SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Police Museum and Education Center had a visit from Santa Sunday.

The visit was part of a toy and clothing drive the state police is holding through Dec. 18.

“[It’s] to give to people in the community who aren’t so fortunate and cannot afford things during this time of year,” Cpl. Amy Jackman said.

Jackman added that the annual event usually brings more than a hundred people to the museum and results in many donations.
