Seven workers at RIDOH test positive for COVID-19
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Seven workers at the Rhode Island Department of Health have tested positive for COVID-19.
All of the individuals are at their homes and self isolating. Through contact tracing all of the individual’s contacts have been notified and are self quarantining.
Dr, Nicole Alexander-Scott said, “This is not any way interrupting our COVID-19 response.
Dr. James McDonald normally accompanies Governor Raimondo during the weekend press briefings. It was explained that Dr. McDonald was one of the members of staff tested for the virus.
It was learned on Satruday morning that Dr. McDonald’s test results was returned negative and is resting at home.
