RI State PD: 2 people killed in head-on Rt. 6 crash in Foster

Rhode Island State Police have identified two people killed in a crash on Route 6 in Foster Monday morning.

Officials said 72-year-old Ronald Desrosiers of Canterbury and 53-year-old Vincent Spooner of Lincoln were killed when Desrosiers crossed over the line and collided head-on Spooner’s vehicle around 7 a.m.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time and had no passengers in either vehicle.

State police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
