NORTON, Mass. (WLNE)- Norton police have arrested a 17-year-old male today in connection to last Wednesday’s mill fire.

A statement from Norton police said detectives had uncovered information in the course of an investigation that led them to serving a warrant on the suspect’s home earlier today.

The suspect, who has not been identified dues his age, is being held on $250,000 cash bail, and will be arraigned at a later date, according to the statement.

The fire remains under investigation, police said.

The fire-alarm fire in a vacant mill building on Barrows street saw crews responding from several towns.

No one was injured in the course of putting it out.
