Milling and paving on Route 138 in Raynham scheduled

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that milling and paving of the drainage trenches on Route 138 Broadway between Elm Street and the Old Raynham Dog Track in Raynham will occur Monday.

The work is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily until Wednesday, Dec. 20.

MassDOT said that a detour for northbound traffic will be in place as follows:

• Traffic travelling in the northbound direction on Route 138 will be directed to take a right onto Elm Street;
• Take a left onto Ann Street;
• Take a slight left on to Robinson Street;
• Follow back to Route 138 northbound.

Drivers travelling through the area should use caution and expect delays.
