Massachusetts driver narrowly escapes injury after being struck by train

WAKEFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — A driver narrowly avoided being injured after their car was struck by a commuter rail train Tuesday in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
Our sister station in Boston, WCVB reports that the incident happened on North Avenue at Prospect Street.
Passengers on the Haverhill Line experienced delays in both directions before normal service resumed.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
