Supposed Outlaws motorcycle club member arrested for carrying firearm without license

BROCKTON, M.A. (WLNE) – Friday night Massachusetts State Troopers arrested a suspected member of the motorcycle group know as the Outlaws and seized an unlawfully-carried firearm.

According to a release from the Massachusetts State Police, around 6:15 p.m. on Friday troopers part of the Troop D Community Action Team noticed two motorcycles speeding on West Chestnut Street in the city of Brockton. The posted speed limit is 40 miles per hour and the motorcycles were estimated to be travelling near 70 miles per hour.

As troopers attempted to stop the motorcycles, one fled, still speeding toward West Bridgewater. Not too long after, the motorcycle and its operated were located by troopers. The operator, 58-year-old Kenneth McDonald of Whitman was caught on Manley Street in West Bridgewater.

McDonald was caught in possession of a BERSA SA.45 firearm, fully loaded with 7 rounds, including one in the chamber. It was quickly established he does not legally possess a license to carry a firearm in the state of Massachusetts.

McDonald was arrested and transported to the State Police Middleboro Barracks and charged with carrying/possessing of a firearm without a license, and carrying a loaded firearm and firearm violation with 2nd offense; and issued a citation warning for speeding.

He was bailed on $500.00 and is due in Brockton District Court on Monday to be arraigned.
