Rain moving in, with some heavy for Thursday morning; improving for the New Year

Fog has plagued Southern New England all week thus far, and with rain coming in this evening, the dreary weather will continue.

Rain could be heavy at times Thursday morning before tapering to showers by midday. While there won’t be washout conditions for Thursday afternoon and Friday, there will be lots of clouds.

Clouds and a few showers are even possible into Saturday morning, but then the sun will finally begin to win back our skies as we head into New Year’s Eve.

Expect sunny and seasonable (low 40s) weather for the first several days of the new year.
