Two teenagers killed in Lynn shooting

LYNN, Mass. (WLNE) — According to WCVB Boston, Lynn police are investigating the shooting deaths of two teenagers.

WCVB reports that a 16-year-old and 19-year-old were killed in the shooting Wednesday night around 10:30.

The 16-year-old was pronounced deceased at the North Shore Medical Center emergency room.

The 19-year-old was hospitalized and later died of his injuries.

The shooting happened on Camden Street, in the area of the AL Prime gas station on Western Avenue.

About three dozen evidence markers could be seen on the ground at the scene, and Lynn police said that Massachusetts State Police investigators were on the scene.

The Essex County District Attorney’s Office will be handling the case.

This incident comes in the wake of a Tuesday shooting near a Pizza Hut in Lynn.
