Sun makes long awaited appearance this weekend, just in time for NYE

But not before one more mostly cloudy day on Saturday

The sun once again failed to make an appearance on Friday, and it could struggle for one more day.

There should be a few breaks of sun Saturday morning, but a cold front coming in from the northwest will push clouds back in by lunchtime, and a few showers are possible as well.

Skies will then fully clear Saturday night and we can finally expect a nice bright, sunny day on New Year’s Eve Sunday, with seasonably chilly temperatures.

A warm front will pass to our southwest on New Year’s Day which will bring more clouds back in. Expect partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday and Wednesday look brighter and nice, but we are keeping an eye on a developing storm system for Thursday. As of now, it looks like nothing more than rain showers.

However, we do have some much colder air that will build in for next weekend. Have a happy new year!
