Driver charged in Foxborough YMCA crash

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Foxborough Police Department said that the driver in a crash that injured four minors at the Mechanic Street YMCA has been charged.
The department said the 51-year-old driver was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
According to police, at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, police and firefighters were called to the YMCA on Mechanic Street after a van crashed into the building causing injuries to the people inside.
Officials said four juveniles were taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the van remained on scene and was cooperative with investigators, authorities said.
The department added the driver will have a hearing to determine probable cause at a later date, and their name will be withheld pending the outcome of the hearing.
