TGI Fridays in Seekonk announces sudden closure

SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) — The TGI Fridays in Seekonk abruptly closed on Tuesday.

The closure was announced on a sign posted to the front door of the chain restaurant on Fall River Avenue.

The sign asked the public to visit the nearby location on State Road in North Dartmouth.

There are no TGI Fridays restaurants in Rhode Island since the Warwick location closed in 2020.

There are now seven locations in Massachusetts.
