PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Providence is reminding residents that they don’t need to be left out in the cold this weekend.

Providence is home to multiple warming centers for the winter months, including Crossroads RI, Federal Hill House and Providence Rescue Mission.

Several Providence Library branches can also be utilized as shelter from the cold.

Residents are encouraged to use any of these locations for temporary shelter during the Sunday storm and throughout the winter.

Stay up to date on all weather alerts with ABC6.
