Pawtucket crash involving car and motorcycle

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – A crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at the intersection of Bates and Benefit Street in Pawtucket.

The crash was called into the Pawtucket Police Department shortly after 1:00 p.m.

Pawtucket Police say speed appears to be the preliminary factor for the crash.

The operator of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both occupants of the other vehicle reported no injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
