McKee signs Declaration of Disaster Emergency after heavy rainstorms

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Gov. Dan McKee said that he has signed a Declaration of Disaster Emergency in response to heavy rain and flooding caused by Tuesday’s storm.
McKee said the declaration will support Rhode Island’s recovery efforts for residents and businesses impacted by last night’s storm.

He added that residents can report flood damage to the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency on its website.
