Fall River police make firearms and drug arrest

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police announced a firearm and illegal narcotics arrest Thursday.

Jullianno Berrios, 20, and Cohen Chauvin, 18, were arrested after a Vice, Gang and Intelligence Unit surveillance operation in the city’s south end.

During the arrest, police discovered a Polymer 80 9mm firearm, 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 17.85 grams of crack cocaine and $2010 in cash.

Berrios was charged with carrying a firearm without a license to carry among a host of weapons charges.

He was also charged with possession with intent to distribute a class B drug.

Chauvin was charged with possession of a class B drug.

He also had an outstanding arrest warrant.
