Pedestrian struck in Dartmouth, in critical condition.

DARTMOUTH, MASS (WLNE) – Police are currently investigating a car into a pedestrian accident that happened in Dartmouth on Thursday night.

Dartmouth police were alerted to the area of 671 State Road in Dartmouth, at 9:15 pm.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office, the victim had been struck by a white BMW.

The driver remained on the scene.

The victim, identified as 37-year-old Ryan Silvia of Fall River, was unresponsive and had significant injuries.

According to the D.A, Silvia’s injuries were so significant he was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Med Flight.

The investigation is pending.
