Free “perks” for voters with sticker

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)— A providence coffee shop is offering up a free “perk” for voters today. ‘The Nitro Bar’ on Broadway is giving away 16 ounce cups of nitros to anyone who shows up with an”I voted sticker”.

It’s all in an effort to get millennials to make their voices heard. Last midterms, the number of voters in that age bracket to cast ballots was reportedly just over 20 percent.

“I think everyone is really involved right now. Everyone really cares what’s going on and we’re ready to show up,” said Audrey Finocchiaro, co-founder of Nitro Bar.

The business has high hopes for their customers to be very involved and keep them busy.

They expect to go through 600 cups before the polls close.
