Providence man arrested on firearm, drug charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A Providence man was arrested on firearm and drug charges, Police said Friday.

Following an investigation by Providence Police Narcotics Detectives, Hector Troche, 33, of Providence, was arrested after officers seized approximately an ounce of fentanyl, 2 firearms and $2,978 in cash from his residence on Leah Street.

The exact charges Troche have not yet been released at this time.
