PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) –  Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

  • At 6:00 tonight, the school committee in Coventry is having a zoom meeting, where they will be discussing the topic every parent with kids wants to be answered. The plan to re-open schools.
  • The Barrington Parks and Recreation Committee is looking ahead, discussing beach parking and music for the Labor Day weekend event at the town beach. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM.
  • The Board of Canvassers in Jamestown is Discussing PPE and certification procedures for mail ballots.  That meeting is at 8:30 AM.
