RIDOT cancels Bristol-Providence ferry services due to high wind forecast
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said it is cancelling Bristol-Providence Ferry services on Sunday due to forecasted high winds.
RIDOT said that services will resume normal operation Monday.
The ferry had service disruptions earlier this week as well.
It is also expected to end service on January 19 due to low ridership and cost.
More information can be found on the ferry’s website.
