Cumberland police K-9 completes first dog training course

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cumberland Police Department said that its K-9 Clipper completed his first dog training course on Sunday.

Clipper is the department’s first comfort dog, and he is partnered with Officer David Ring, a School Resource Officer.

The partners received a certificate that said they completed the HCC K-9 Basic Obedience and Socialization course.
