PawSox send two Pawtucket boys to World Series

They’re probably the two luckiest students at their elementary schools – Cameron Daley and Manny Alba are headed to the World Series.

With their dads, the young fans took in Game 1 from their seats on the first base line at Fenway. Wednesday, they’re doing it all again.

Cameron and Manny were the winners of this year’s contest through the Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club.

“At the All-Star game they picked my name. I was super excited,” Cameron says.

He’s excited to see his favorite players, Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez.

As for Manny, it’s his first time ever at Fenway Park. “It’s just a pleasure to be in the World Series,” he says. But he’s not referring to the Red Sox. He’s a Dodgers fan.

The PawSox send two winners from the Boys and Girls Club to the World Series every year no matter what teams are playing. This year, as fate would have it, a Red Sox fan and Dodgers fan re heading up as the teams face each other for the first time.

“I think it’s gonna be a tie. They’re both really good teams. They both have a lot of players that are good,” Manny said.

Cameron’s taking a bolder approach. He’s got faith in his Red Sox to clinch the series

“I think Sox in 6.”
