List: School delays, parking bans as snow covers Southern New England

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Southern New England woke up to more snow on Tuesday morning after a mix of snowfall and heavy rain — and some sunshine — throughout the past week. Tuesday’s snow caused some schools have delays.
The following schools will be delayed:
- Chariho Regional Public Schools — delayed 2 hours
- Coventry Public Schools — delayed 1 hour, no a.m. Pre-K
- Cranston Public Schools — delayed 1 hour
- East Greenwich Public Schools — delayed 2 hours
- Exeter-West Greenwich Public Schools — delayed 2 hours, no a.m. Pre-K
- Foster-Glocester Elementary and Regional Schools — delayed 90 minutes, no a.m. Pre-K
- Johnston Public Schools — delayed 1 hour, no a.m. Pre-K
- Narragansett Public Schools — delayed 2 hours
- North Kingstown Schools — delayed 1 hour
- North Providence Public Schools — delayed 1 hour, no a.m. Pre-K
- Scituate Public Schools — delayed 2 hours, no a.m. Pre-K
- Smithfield Public Schools — delayed 2 hours, no a.m. Pre-K
- South Kingstown Public Schools — delayed 1 hour, no a.m. Pre-K
- Warwick Public Schools — delayed 90 minutes, no a.m. Pre-K
- West Bay Collaborative in Warwick — delayed 90 minutes
- West Warwick Public Schools — delayed 1 hour, no a.m. Pre-K
- Westerly Public Schools — delayed 2 hours
- Woonsocket Public Schools — delayed 1 hour, no a.m. Pre-K
Compass School in Kingston was delayed two hours, and a scheduled field trip was canceled. Kingston Hill Academy in Saunderstown was delayed two hours.
In Massachusetts, Seekonk Public Schools were delayed two hours. Morning kindergarten and Pre-K were canceled.
The following towns issued parking bans:
- Cranston — in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- North Kingstown — in effect from midnight to noon
- Lincoln — in effect from midnight to 6 p.m.
- Smithfield — in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
