Providence officer saves baby’s life with CPR

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – A Providence police officer saved the life of a baby after responding to a call of a motor vehicle accident.
According to Providence police, Officer Deschamps and Lt. Barros responded to a motor vehicle crash when they were alerted a baby in a nearby home was not breathing.
Both officers responded, and Officer Deschamps performed CPR, saving the child’s life.
The wife of officer told ABC6 that the baby was only 8 months old.
