Norton Police investigating deadly crash

NORTON, Mass. (WLNE) – Police are investigating an early morning crash in Norton that killed one man.

Norton Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash at 96 Maple Street around 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

According to Police, the operator of the vehicle lost control before striking a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash is under investigation by Norton Police, Massachusetts State Police, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
