PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) –  Join ABC6 for information on some notable events happening in the Rhode Island and Bristol County areas, today.

  • The Rhode Island Recovery is giving people a chance for Safely dispose of their hazardous household materials. It’s on Commercial Way in East Providence. If you are interested, you have to schedule a time to drop off materials. It starts at 8:00 AM.
  • If you’re in the mood to pick up trash and help clean up the environment. There’s a cleanup at LaFayette park from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. You’re asked to bring masks and practice social distancing.
  • And the Small Business Administration is holding a virtual seminar at 10:00 AM. It kicks off a 4-day event dealing with current contract opportunities for small business owners in the area.
