Sunny but Bitterly Cold Sunday
The Arctic blast that has been in Southern New England since Friday, will finish out the weekend with us. Sunday will start with lows near 13 but with the wind from the northwest between 10-15 mph, it will feel closer to 0. This will hold through the day. Even though we will have tons of sunshine, it will be cold with near 0 wind chills. Without the influence of the wind, it will warm to 26, more than 10 degrees colder than average. Sunshine sticks with us through Monday and temperatures warm to near average, topping out in the upper-30s. Starting Tuesday, we will warm into the 40s and stay warmer than average through the end of the week. It will also become unsettled with the chance of precipitation Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday night, we could see a snow/ wintry mix which may make for a slippery Wednesday morning commute.
