Man charged in fatal Pawtucket shooting

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said that a man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred Friday.
34-year-old Michael Fernandes was charged with domestic murder, discharge of a firearm resulting in death, carrying a pistol without a license, carrying a large capacity feeding device, and violation of a no contact order.
Police identified the victim of the shooting as 33-year-old Jocelyn Docouto of Central Falls.
Fernandes is accused of shooting and killing Docouto outside of a salon on Central Avenue.
Fernandes is expected to be arraigned Monday.
