Pawtucket police investigating apparent shooting on Lonsdale

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – Pawtucket police are currently investigating a shooting that happened on Friday morning.

According to the department, the shooting happened near the Mutual Mart on Lonsdale Avenue around 11:21 AM.

Police say the male victim was shot as somebody was passing him in a vehicle.

The suspected vehicle was said to have fled the area towards Providence.

The victim suffered minor injuries.
