CCRI faculty pickets for new contract

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Community College of Rhode Island faculty and staff held an informational picket this morning at the Knight Campus in Warwick on Monday morning.

The Faculty Association Union says they have been working without a contract since June 2022.

The Union said that they are looking for management to offer them a fair contract but here has been little to no progress in negotiations.

The Lincoln, Providence, and Newport CCRI campuses will also be holding informational pickets at a further date.
