Bodycam footage shows man fleeing from police on second-story motel balcony

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence Police dispatched to a 911-hang up call from a motor inn on Tuesday night.
Captain Michael Rapoza shared bodycam footage from East Providence officers, showing a man attempting to escape from a second-floor balcony of the Rumford Motor Inn.
The man was identified as Carlos Cintron, 36, of Providence.
Cintron can be seen in the bodycam footage fleeing on foot from police officers and climbing out of the motel room window.
Officers attempted to stop him, but he escaped down the side of the balcony.
Cintron was eventually stopped by officers through an adjacent window, where he was detained.
After further investigation, Cintron was arrested and charged with possession of two schedule four drugs, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and obstructing an officer.
Cintron was arraigned in court today, and is set to return in May.
