Man arrested for allegedly leaving threatening voicemail at Attleboro synagogue

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Police Department said a man was arrested Friday after allegedly leaving a threatening voicemail at Agudas Achim Synagogue.
59-year-old John Reardon, of Millis, was charged with uttering threats to kill, making a bomb threat, and civil rights violations.
Police responded to the synagogue around 9 a.m. after an employee heard the voicemail.
Police said he message included “threats referring to genocide, bombing places of worship, and the killing of children.”
Reardon was identified and located in Wrentham, where he was taken into custody.
He was arraigned and is being held pending a dangerousness hearing.
