Man has died following 295 crash

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) – After a crash that happened on Monday night, a man died as a result of his injuries earlier in the day on Tuesday.
State Police say the man was driving alone on 295 North near the 146 exit at around 8 p.m. Monday night, when his car went off the road, hitting a light pole and a tree.
He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead Tuesday.
The man has been identified by State Police as 42-year-old Craig R. Fregeau of Cumberland.
No further information is available at this time.
