Patriots hire new special teams coordinator Springer from Rams

FOXBORO, Mass (WLNE) — The New England Patriots have now hired for two of their big three coaching needs.
Los Angeles Rams assistant special teams coach Jeremy Springer is set to be the new play caller for the third phase of the Patriots’ game.
This comes on the heels of new head coach Jerod Mayo’s reported hiring of DeMarcus Covington as defensive coordinator.
Springer has two years of NFL experience with the Rams, along with experience at the college level, where he was the special teams coordinator at Arizona.
Springer will have a large task on his hands to improve the last ranked in special teams Patriots of 2023.
