Woman arrested at Twin River casino, charged with felony assault

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Troopers responded to Bally’s Twin River Casino Thursday night for a disturbance involving a firearm.

Shanequa Bonnie, 28, of Worcester has been charged with the following:

  • felony assault with intent to commit murder
  • felony assault and/or battery
  • license o permit to carry a pistol
  • carrying a weapon while intoxicated
  • disorderly conduct
  • resisting arrest

ABC 6 reached out to State Police for more information.

The casino did not want to comment on the incident.
