MSPCA seeks adoption for Nigerian Dwarf goats

METHUEN, Mass. (WLNE) — The MSPCA at Nevins Farm is looking to home more than a dozen goats rescued from a property in New York.

The MSPCA shared that they sent two staff members to assist the ASPCA in removing the goats, cattle, and horses from poor conditions on Jan. 18.

The goats were transported to Nevins Farm on Feb 12.

Kaycie McCarthy, outreach manager at Nevins explained, “We ended up taking all 17 goats that were on the property. They were living with dozens of other animals on a property with limited access to food, water, and medical care.”

Among the goats are nine bucks, seven does, and one wether, all of which are Nigerian Dwarf breeds. They range from one to 10-years-old.

Those interested in adopting one or several of the goats can visit Nevins Farm during open hours, Tuesday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., or submit an inquiry.
