Business Recovery Center closed due to inclement weather

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the Business Recovery Center in Rhode Island is closed Tuesday.

The center will resume normal operation on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 9:00 a.m.

SBA shared that their customer service representatives can assist business owners in completing their disaster loan application, accepting documents for existing applications, and provide status on loan applications.

The Providence County Business Recovery Center is located at 1835 Mineral Spring Ave., opened Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during regular business hours.

Applicants are welcome to apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at SBA.gov/disaster.

Applicants may also call SBA’s customer service at (800) 659 – 2955 or e-mail disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.

Those who are hard of hearing or have other speech disabilities can call 7-1-1 to access telecommunications.

The filing deadline for physical property damage is March 7, 2024. The deadline for economic injury is Oct. 7, 2024.
