Rhode Island added to New York travel advisory list

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – New York officials updated their travel advisory on Tuesday, adding Rhode Island back on to the list.
Rhode Island and four other states have been added back to the COVID-10 travel advisory list. The other states considered “high-risk” include Arizona, Minnesota, Nevada, and Wyoming.
Rhode Island was previously added to tri-state travel advisory list in August, but was removed one week later.
The advisory requires anyone who travels to the tri-state area from high-risk states is required to quarantine for 14 days. This is based upon a seven day rolling average, of positive tests in excess of 10%, or number of positive cases exceeding 10 per 100,000 residents.
