SUV collides head-on with ambulance in Foxborough
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — On Thursday night, an SUV collided head-on with an ambulance on Main Street.
According to Foxborough Fire & Rescue, officials responded a call of a car accident involving an SUV and an ambulance around 6:41 p.m.
Upon arrival to the scene, it was found that there were five people involved, one was a child.
A 77-year-old man who was on the stretcher in the rear of the ambulance was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for injuries.
The ambulance attendant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital for evaluation. The female EMT driver was actively attending to the injured before the fire department arrived.
The 40-year-old female driver of the SUV was also transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Her 8-year-old daughter was immediately transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital for life-threatening injuries. There, she was stabilized and transferred to Mass. General Hospital via Boston MedFlight.
Nobody has been charged in this incident yet.
