RI reminds voters of deadlines for Presidential Primary

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island eligible voters are being reminded of important deadlines for the Presidential Preference Primary in April.

Secretary of State Gregg Amore and the RI Department of State Elections Division are reminding voters that the deadline for the Primary is March 3, 2024.

The deadline for voters to disaffiliate is also on March 3.

Both processes can be completed online or by visiting the local board of canvassers’ office.

Mail ballot applications are also available for registered voters and can be found online or by paper form.

The deadline to request a mail ballot is 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.
